Spring is in the air....finally! I Love warm weather (not hot) but warm weather with a cool breeze which doesn't last for too long here. So we are enjoying every minute of it. I had such a great day yesturday with the kids. We had a picnic in the backyard and played outside for hours. I actually had the basement door open I would set my machine up to sew and then I would go and join the kids again. It was great! At the end of the day you know it was all worth it when your children come up to you and hug you and say I had a fun day today! That just melts my heart...because sometimes I miss those moments...well probably too often actually....that special Quality Time! Well since I haven't posted any pictures in a really long time I am just going to include some below from a few events that have occured over the last month.
The next few pictures were taken during the Cherry Blossom festival held the first week in April. The kids had a blast. We went to the fair that they have every year and rode some rides and ate some yummy fair food. We also went to the festival picnic another night. There were a lot of our friends there from our church. You can see Madi had a great time with her friend Bailey Ann dancing to some kids songs, and in the background you can see Bailey Ann's sisters (triplets) probably enjoyed the show! :) We had a great week!
Eggs, Eggs, Eggs, and MORE Eggs. We had three Easter Egg hunts. Madi and Lawrence had one at their school, then our church had one for the kids, and then we had one on Easter Sunday with the family. We had eggs all over the place and of course lots of candy!!!! I love this age, they are so much fun at this age and their personalities truely shine now!
